Li Ayi has worked for my family for 4.5 years. My children were 4 and 7 when we came to Shanghai and she has been of great service to us during her time with us. Now our children are older we no longer need a full time ayi. Li Ayi’s English is good. She has been very helpful in getting maintenance done around the house, organizing deliveries, ordering the water for the house etc. She deals with workers on a weekly basis, which has made my life very easy. She can cook Chinese food but more importantly she can cook some Western meals. She cooks spaghetti bolognaise (my recipe) regularly, she makes and cooks chicken schnitzels, she is very cook at cooking sausages and hamburgers and preparing and cooking vegetables for the children. She recently did a cooking workshop for ayis and can now prepare chicken noodle soup, chocolate chip cookies and beef chili. Li Ayi is good at housework, she goes to the supermarket for me and keeps my cleaning products in stock, as well as buys and cleans all of our fresh vegetables. Li Ayi is also good at laundry. She does all my hand washing and is a great ironer. My husband travels a lot and Li Ayi has always been on call day or night to come and look after one child whilst I take the other child to the doctor or hospital at hours outside her working hours. Li Ayi has worked for many Western families before working for our family. She is very kind and considerate and trustworthy and I recommend her to anyone looking for an English speaking ayi.
You can contact her on 150 0036 7113. She lives in Xintiandi but is happy to consider working as far away as Minhang (where we live).
Please call me if you would like to discuss her future employment with you. Regards, Rebecca 1860 177 2049
