ShMamas Social Media Coordinator
Shanghai Mamas is a non-profit organization and the largest community of international families living in Shanghai. We are searching for a social media coordinator to help us to communicate a cross-platform message on Instagram, Facebook , WeChat, through our email digest, and primarily our website platform. This will be a paid role.
Requirements-
-Strong knowledge of social networks
-Excellent writing and communication skill along with a passion to connect with the international community in Shanghai.
-Excellent organization skills
Ideal candidate also has a good knowledge of WordPress and overseeing a WeChat Official Account. Graphic Design skills are a plus.
Job Flow-
-Approving new members and maintaining member database. Occasional auditing to keep analytics accurate.
-Publishing the Email digest with content from the website 2x per week
-Respond to queries from the main ShMamas inbox and route to volunteer handling the role.
-Assist with updating the slider box on the ShMamas site and liasoning with blog editor
-Short-term backup for key site functions if lead volunteers aren’t available
-Connecting with the marketing and sponsorship team to keep the website ads current.
-Auditing and light back-end housekeeping of main Shanghai Mamas WordPress website.
-Attend monthly Executive Committee meetings and publish meeting minutes.
-Occasionally attending fairs or exhibitions to increase community exposure.
Role can be done with flexible hours and work from home. Salary in the 8-9Krmb range. Excellent experience and CV builder working with the largest community of international families in Shanghai. There is also a huge opportunity to grow and expand the role as the Shanghai Mamas community pivots into a wider audience.
