We asked, and you all answered…and it is an AMAZING playlist.
This list has songs to rock out to while scream singing the chorus in the shower. There are witty and sarcastic contributions that really nail the angst and frustration so many of us are feeling. There are songs that make you nod along and feel less alone when you see others feel the same way. There are some great songs for a family dance party in the kitchen.
Some of the songs are explicit, but would we want it any other way right now? But we should give a heads up if you are listening with young kids you may need to preview the list.

The songs span decades and genres with some tracks originally released in the 60s and others released last month. The beauty of the list is there is a unifying theme of our Shanghai Lockdown that weaves them together.
You can also start planning your outfit for a great big Shanghai Mamas KTV party once this is all over – we’ve going to need to scream sing several of these songs loudly together! Let’s all cross our fingers we can plan that soon.
Do you see any glaring omissions from the list? Send your song idea along and we’ll add it to the Spotify playlist🔗.
