Founder’s Day is a hallowed tradition at all Dulwich family of schools where the community comes together to recognise Edward Alleyn, the famed Shakespearean actor who founded the school in 1619.

On this day, the Dulwich Pudong campus will be filled with international food and drink, stage performances and a wide range of interactive activities. Music, art and performances across the school will create an immersive experience that reflects our energy, passion, culture and values. During the celebration, Dulwich Pudong’s strong community spirit will shine bright, as students, families and staff come together with a shared sense of connection and belonging.

At Dulwich Pudong, we are committed to building a warm, home-like community where we form strong and lasting bonds. This year’s Founder’s Day theme, #ForeverDulwich, represents the heart of our community, the enduring connections between people.

The theme of #ForeverDulwich captures the idea that once you become part of the Dulwich family, you remain forever part of it. Whether you are a newly joined family or a graduate, this sense of belonging stays with you. It is the lasting connection and shared identity that make our community distinctive, both in Shanghai and beyond.
