EDITORIAL MANAGER

We’re seeking a Word Wizard—a creative powerhouse ready to turn words into magic! The Editorial Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the SHMama brand narrative, overseeing content that sparks joy, and ensuring all written materials’ consistent quality and style. This person has a passion for storytelling, a keen editorial eye, and can bring fresh ideas to the editorial table.
Responsibilities:
Manage the yearly editorial calendar, strategically plan content topics, and collaborate with the executive team to ensure cohesive engagement across social media and partnerships.
Delegate content drafts to editors for initial and final reviews, ensuring top-notch quality and strict adherence to guidelines.
Recruit and foster active participation from the volunteer content and editing teams.
Participates in and contributes actively to monthly Executive team meetings, providing insights and updates on content-related matters.
Attend our monthly Exec team meeting (1-2 hours per meeting).
Qualifications:
You understand our community and know what content will spark joy and engagement.
You’re a planner and believe organization and timelines are keys to success.
Whether in writing or verbally, you know how to convey your message clearly.
You like being part of a team and motivating others to achieve goals.
You’re available for at least one hour each Wednesday morning for the final content review before publishing on Thursdays.
